What is the garden design process? In this series of posts is a step by step guide to answer that question.

Projects differ in size or scope and the design process varies accordingly so not all steps apply to all projects. Often only the first 4 steps are required.

Step 1, Consultation.

Personally I like to start with an informal no obligation phone conversation, often this will be sufficient to establish the fundamental elements required to move forward.

Next is the on site consultation, I visit you at your home and we can walk around the garden and discuss your aspirations for the space, practical considerations, budget, style and scope.

Following our on site meeting, I provide a proposal with design services and fees for your project.
